2024 MR3 Network Scientific Retreat, September 19 and 20, 2024

Catalyzing Transdisciplinary Research to Develop Innovative Rehabilitation Approaches with Lasting Impacts

Submit an Abstract!

The Medical Rehabilitation Research Resource (MR3) Network 2024 Retreat Planning Committee is now accepting abstracts for 15-minute presentations at our fourth annual retreat. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed, and speaking invitations will be based on the content of the abstract submission, available space, and overall program balance.

Building on discussions from last year’s retreat, the 2024 MR3 Scientific Retreat aims to change the rehabilitation research landscape by developing novel transdisciplinary strategies to sustain and improve function once individuals return to their lived environments. Transdisciplinary team members may include, for example, engineers, behavioralists, implementation scientists, data scientists, persons with lived experience, tele-interventionalists, and more.

We encourage all rehabilitation researchers to participate and submit abstracts regardless of funding source(s) and/or network affiliation.

Format and Timeline

Provide the proposed presentation title, authors, and authors’ institutional affiliations, contact email and phone number, and 250-word abstract with 3 to 5 keywords in the submission form. All submitted abstracts will be provided as a downloadable guide at the conference and potentially published as a compendium in a journal.
