NC NM4R faculty member George Wittenberg, M.D., Ph.D., has a position opening in his Pittsburgh-based lab, to start around October 1, 2021.

The laboratory is part of the Human Engineering Research Laboratory and Rehab Neural Engineering Labs, with affiliations at the University of Pittsburgh, UPMC, and Carnegie Mellon University, and the position would be offered through the Department of Veterans affairs. Techniques used include transcranial magnetic stimulation, exoskeleton robotics, and MRI. The environment is excellent for training in general, and particularly in motor rehabilitation after neurological injury. Please see more information or email Dr. Wittenberg.
